I've made this post early last year but it got lost. Just found it recently, edited a few things, so here it is.
- The Number One Reason is that we focus on All Souls Day and All Saints Day that Zombie costumes and Cobweb Decorations take a backseat.
-Speaking of costumes and decorations, those things cost money. and we don't like to spend money.
-We have a more important month after November and you'll be left broke if you do celebrate Halloween.
-Our faith/church/parents teaches that we should respect the dead, not be afraid of them.
- Giving away candy=Lame. Giving away money for candy=awesome.
- Jack O Lanterns aren't really scary. (Unless they are on Headless Horsemen.)
- Putting Jack O Lanterns on your lawn is like asking for it to be stolen.
- Roaming around at night in a costume is asking for a beatdown.
-Geography also hampers our Halloween, especially in rural areas. Walk to next door neighbor, get lollipop. Walk 3km then get another lollipop? No thanks.
Peace Out.
