So we just had our first Tekken 6 3-on-3 tournament earlier today and we finished fourth overall from eight teams. Now don't get me wrong, fourth is a good finish(By the way, Sedric and co. were the eventual champions. Congrats, buddy.) but honestly, I had the opportunity to finish higher in this tournament (hell, maybe even win the damn thing.)I don't know what I was thinking but suddenly, during a match in the quarter finals, I had a certain Goku of the Cell Saga epiphany (only geeks need apply) wherein I thought "Hey, we have a 2-0 lead, I trust my teammates enough, why don't I let them finish the job. Besides, what could possibly go wrong?!"
hmm. Look at where it got me.
I don't really blame my teammates for losing because Randz is a very tough opponent. I'm just concerned with the fact that maybe my being too reserved and laid back attitude meddled with my ability to finish games. Am I like Lebron and the Heatles? Statistically excellent players but cannot finish games. I really can't say. All I know is I'm gonna make a rule of thumb here: When you can finish, finish. No questions asked.
