New Shit

So I'm trying out new shit so again, I am apologizing in advance for my absence...s. Hopefully I'll get more stories out of this experience.

Vortex...vortex everywhere

So I have been busy as of late and it's pretty easy to say that I have been doing nothing here again lolz. The thing is when you get to do real shit outside in the real world, you tend to get distracted....by real world, I mean playing Dota2, hanging out with friends and playing arcades. Yep, that's quality real world shit.

It's easy to get caught in a vortex with the shit that you do and it keeps you coming back for more because besides the fact that it's fun and enjoyable, it just makes you appreciate the people in your life and life itself.

I am sorry that I haven't been updating as much but hey, with my absence, maybe I'll get to meet some of you in real life and have a real connection. Who knows? I am enjoying life as it is...and I hope you do so as well. You're only given one (minus the ones where you are reincarnated but that's a different ball game altogether) Live it.

Life With Imaginary Power-Ups #25-#26

Upon double checking my posts, it has come to my attention that I have two LWIPU entries. Seeing that it's a double post, I did what any right-minded, sensible blogger would do...which is neglect editing it and just combine two entries again to make up for a mistake that is just so easy to edit but takes too much time. (That's like 5 minutes...uggh...)

*Injustice had a successful reintroduction into our local scene. Hopefully interest picks up within the community and it also builds up to match (or even surpass) the defunct MK Scene.

*Follow up: New game meaning new match-ups. Once again I dive into learning the in's and out's of facing different characters. It just brings me so much joy to read about what works and what doesn't on certain characters.

*The Excellent Adventures of Mike Ross and Gootecks is back. Need I say more?

*I was recently reintroduced to DotA (in the form of DotA2) and I've been hooked ever since. Not gonna lie, I enjoy the game. It has come to a point where certain days and times of the week have been set to playing DotA with my friends around the globe. It's pretty enjoyable even when we're losing.

*Ultra Street Fighter is fast approaching and with all the changelogs and new shit I am again faced with the pressure of switching characters. Don't get me wrong, I love Makoto but Sakura, Yun, Cody and Oni tease me at every turn. Ugggh....

*I always think about the differences between (Street Fighter) Third Strike and SF4 and I think Nuki (one of the 5 SF Gods) put it best. He says that "the SF4 game engine is designed to be "knowledge-based" and rewards you on how much you know about your character and your opponent while 3rd strike is where a person's reads, reactions and senses are crucial. This is also his reason why he prefers 3rd strike over Sf4.

*Just when I thought I had some time off after finishing a couple of series ( Masters of Sex and True Detectives), in comes a buttload of other series I have yet to watch (Castle, Strike Back, Helix, the upcoming GoT etc.) Fuck it...goodbye extra time. :(

*Speaking of series, HIMYM is coming to a close. Hapsad. Sappy. :() :)(...hmmm, those aren't words... So I'm just gonna go with bittersweet-ish to express how I feel about this situation.
