Le Recovery Guide to Breakups

I've always wanted to put this here but I always thought it wouldn't be necessary and who am I to give advice on this kind of topics but then again, you grow up, mature a little and begin to acknowledge that shit really happens in real life and the experience you get from this moments will benefit others...even in the slightest bit. Besides, this is just my lame ass excuse to post a new topic here so read on.
First is acceptance. And dealing with that shit. All breakups are painful. You'll feel a whirlwind of emotions and sometimes, they will come out and when they do, let them. Be as emo as you want. Just don't go overboard and post random shit on your Facebook wall like "So alone, want to die" (or worse, hurt yourself. That's just dumb.)  It will feel awful. It will feel bad. That is expected. It is important to let yourself feel all these emotions (aka 'the feels') to help you heal. I know this sounds cliche but this will make you stronger overall. Once you've accepted this then you can begin getting rid of things that remind you "strongly" of your ex (like pictures and personal accessories) I don't know if it will speed up your recovery but I'm pretty sure it will help.
Second: Distractions. Keep yourself busy to disrupt your minds' thoughts. Work can be one thing but what I really mean is drown yourself in your hobbies. If you don't have any, then it's the perfect time to think of one or if you're bored with your hobbies, time to take up a new one. Do these things to keep you
Third: Support. Look to friends and family for support. I don't know how to stress this enough. A simple hug, tap in the back or long talk goes a long way. This people will always be there for you (I hope) and will help you in any way that they can.  If you have neither (or just looking for additional hugsies), then this place helps http://thenicestplaceontheinter.net/

Lastly, keep your head up. And the best thing? Your significant other is out there, still waiting for you. New possibilities! Don't be sad and be excited on this fact.

Beards

During the duration of Holy Week 2013, I've met a lot of peeps that I haven't seen in a long time and it's quite funny to see them squint and stare at me from afar and if they're in a group, whisper to each other to confirm if it's really me they're seeing. One comment that I enjoy hearing (besides the "you got handsomer" comment)  is that "you have a beard that's why we couldn't tell" comment. I always liked having a beard and a few of my close friends and family members *cough, cough* parents *cough* don't understand why I have one. I would like to list down a few of my favorite reasons on why I have a beard.

1.) It's a useful deviating topic from the usual shit people keep asking like "Are you married?", "Do you have kids?", "Do you plan on getting thinner?" (By the way, to the people who ask me this..fuck you. Suck a bag of dicks.) Sure, those topics will be brought up eventually but with the beard, you can counter with your own questions after they ask why you have said beard and if it all works well, you've moved on to better topics.
2.) I can grow my beard to good proportions (like James Harden-esque) I like that in my little circle of friends, I am the only one who can do this.  I also like how I look with the beard on. It may be a part of my persona too nowadays...
3.)  It hides my chin :D
4.)  And finally, Beards often signify that a person is deep, mysterious, brooding and has a lot on his mind. I like those concepts that come with beards when in truth, I'm just a nerd thinking bout Mahvel and Chicken 90% of the time lolz.

So, that's me.
Later.

10 more years...and maybe more.

A few months ago, Mahvel players found that there was indeed infinite technology in Ultimate Marvel VS Capcom 3. At first it was thought it was only possible through Team Aerial Combos aka TACs but in recent weeks, it was possible to do as long as you learn the proper timing and recognize when to hit the buttons
after the hitstop. Of course, this is easier said than done because it is hard as bricks (I'm not going anywhere).

TACs are by far the easiest way to gain access to the infinites but I'm pretty sure sooner or later,
we'd practice our hearts out and we should be hitting infinites left and right (especially after Marlinpie recently explained the input nulification glitch) or maybe some ingenious player out there would unleash some new tech that would set up or present an easier route to an infinite. Rest assured, we will be tinkering with Mahvel for a long, long time. Maybe even over ten years.

That's what I always loved about the Marvel series. There is a huge amount of tech to be found. Sure some of which are crazy stupid and totally broken but it's what makes Mahvel...Mahvel.
