Early Resolutions

It's pretty apparent that I have run out of things to write about this year. I blame the lack of variety in the stuff that I do (being awesome, eat, sleep, repeat) but seriously, I lost my PS3 earlier this year (RIP Buddy) so I can't do any fighting game write ups or play games and conjure up random thoughts from gaming. My girlfriend also went home to work so I've been having less and less adventures. (Ain't fun trekking around by myself. :( ) It doesn't help that the local fighting gaming community is stale as shit here in Bohol so there's no one to share the passion around.  I also find it rather hard to decide on how to present the stuff I come up in my head. I internally argue with myself if a joke should be presented in video or written format and ultimately, I end up doing neither because I hate myself after the internal argument. As a follow up, I also think of funny random stuff and I tend to forget them. I hate myself for not keeping a notepad with me all the time so I always end up thinking that the jokes that I thought up aren't funny, which is a damn shame.
When it comes to pictures and videos, it doesn't help that I don't have a reliable camera nowadays that I can't capture content properly so I end up scrapping most of my pet projects. I wish I can draw like I used to in high school but apparently, I cannot. Hopefully I can remedy this by practicing again.

So this coming next year, I plan to:
Have a notepad at all times for doodling and note keeping. Get a new freakin console ( and maybe pursue that gaming business dream.) because I'm having withdrawal symptoms for not having played for almost two months (Dying inside everyday.) Revive the local fighting gaming community. Try to actually go to the gym (nope lolz). Find a way to kidnap and/or blackmail my girlfriend and make her stay for awhile or until the ransom arrives or Stockholm Syndrome appears or a SWAT team arrives. Whichever comes first but overall, I just need to think of new stuff. I'm planning to also develop my Tumblr as well if ever the plan with my sister pushes through. Keep posted.

Peace Out.

Hi, I am *Insert Name Here*

I always find it so fascinating how people acknowledge me depending on what time we've met in our lives. Sometimes it comes in handy because if I am not close to the person calling me out, I can determine when I've met this said person just by what nickname I was called. So far the most significant nicknames are:

*Tonypet was the first nickname I was given and it's mainly used by my parents' closest friends. I rarely hear this nickname nowadays and it always comes as a surprise if someone calls me out with this nickname.

*When we moved to Bohol, we lived in Katipunan Street for a short while. Now, Katipunan peeps are known to give new residents (especially kids) unique nicknames and I was no exception. I would also liked to add that I was also called Ondoy but since that was too general as a lot of kids were already called Ondoy, my uncle decided to X at the end so it became Ondoyex. As time went on,  variations were made like Ondoyi and Doyex but the core Ondoyex is what started it all.

*Flash forward to high school and I was looking for a fresh new start. First things first, there were three Richards in our batch and I wanted people to tell us apart. Next, this nickname came from a mindless group activity that had us adding Y to the end of our names so mine became Richardy. I jokingly shortened my name to Chardy, little did I know that mine would catch on and hang around forever.
*I'd also like to include this nickname because it may come in between the Chardy phase, it still is pretty significant. During second year high school, I was very into basketball. I was looking for a player to base my game on and I found Tracy Mcgrady. I began copying his moves and mannerisms during pick up games around Bohol that people who noticed started calling me Tmac (Tracy's nickname). At first, it was awkward to listen to but overtime, I got so used to it that whenever I play in new courts, I introduce myself as Tmac.

*Let's flash forward a couple more years into College. Chady is pretty easy to explain because I wanted to change things up a bit and I removed the R. Simple as that. Chad also came as a variation to Chady (especially when I lived in Cebu for awhile) but I consider Chady the current version as this is what I'm using up till now.

There are also certain nicknames like Odoy and Dmax but they rarely used and this kind of nicknames are often relegated to specific people which I know everyone has so I'm not gonna list those down mine. What's special about my case is the fact that I can identify when I've met this person because at that time, I was using said nickname. Example? My sisters high school friends call me Doyi so I identify them easily. Another is when certain people call me Chaddy, those are the ones that I worked with in one of the call centers industry because of a minor typo error a trained entered in the registry. It makes me feel like a unique, goofier version of a Time Lord. With this thought, it makes me go Philosoraptor and think that if you call me by a different name, I might not know you...yet. As I post this, I realize that my bday is coming up so maybe I'll try a new nickname for next year. I have no thoughts about what I'll use but I'm thinking I would go with
Galactic President Superstar McAwesomeville ...but you never know.

That's me.
And peace out.

- Name here depends on what timeline we met. Thanks.
